French womenswear label
Founded by Claire Teixeira, the brand is a French womenswear label built around the idea of a timeless, ethically-made wardrobe. After she and her husband decided to return to Paris so their three children could grow up closer to their French roots, the label's debut collection, "Sous le ciel de Paris," was named for the city where the brand itself was born.
It is not often that I find a company where I want to buy most of the collection, but there are so many fantastic pieces to take on holiday, including the Le Edwige pants, the Le Felix co-ord, this delicate spaghetti strap, ruffled lace summer Le Dimitri top in blue and white and this incredible and very useful denim pouch bag.
Made in Europe
Rosaé Paris officially launched in November 2019, offering a wardrobe made entirely in Europe, with the majority of pieces produced by suppliers in Portugal, a country Claire holds close to her heart after living there for a decade. The brand has built a reputation for environmental consciousness, embracing upcycling and sourcing fabrics from the LVMH-backed initiative Nona Source, which repurposes deadstock luxury textiles.
Rosaé describes its mission as restoring "real value" to customers at a time of rising prices and declining quality. The brand favours natural fibres, cashmere, merino wool, French tweeds and Italian wool.
Limited editions
The company releases new capsule collections on a rolling basis, each produced in limited editions with names such as "Le Maestro," "Le Danou," and "Le Thibaud," spanning ready-to-wear, bags and shoes.
Its physical stores are unfortunately currently limited to France, including a Paris flagship so UK customers shop primarily through the brand's official website which ships directly, and the prices for UK orders include VAT and import duties, so there are no additional charges on delivery.
