Wahaca x Tony's Chocolonely
This month, Wahaca hands over its dessert menu to Tony's Chocolonely for a limited-run, joyfully over-the-top collaboration. There will be crisp, cinnamon-sugar tacos filled with ice cream, chocolate sauce and all manner of crunch (the 'Everything' version is particularly unapologetic), alongside churros with generous, dunkable sides. There's even a suitably decadent cocktail to round things off. It's indulgent, yes, but underpinned by both brands' shared commitment to ethical sourcing – proof that doing good and having a very good pudding needn't be mutually exclusive.
V&A Schiaparelli Merch
No museum shop is as good as the V&A's (honestly, we'd go for it alone if it wasn't sacrilege not to go poking around the galleries). But it is extra pleasing when its current exhibition is quite as achingly, artfully chic as the current Schiaparelli: Fashion Becomes Art and thus its merch is given over to actual stone-cold genius. Few people fit that bill like Elsa Schiaparelli – and to celebrate, we'll be snapping up one of these very fetching prints (£15).

It may be spring, but we are nonetheless enjoying the autumnal vibes of this Peony Pomenade Rug (£599) from the stellar collaboration between Ruggable and Liberty. Like all things from the best department store in the land, its roots are in heritage design – namely, in this case, a 1968 scarf. Just picture how this might warm up an under-loved nook.

Every time Alan Bennett publishes new diaries, we flock to the nearest bookshop to first buy and then devour them. Now that the playwright, dramatist, diarist and novelist is a nonagenarian, they feel more imperative still. This latest instalment takes us from 2016 to 2024, especially turbulent years that begin with Brexit and the election of Trump, rattle through too many lockdowns to recall and take us up to the year he turned 90. As The Times review noted, 'In an age of curated self-belief, his vulnerabilities feel refreshing, his reticence almost radical'. We need more Bennets – and as long as he's writing we'll be reading.
