Black Friday in the beauty world is about two things: stocking up on my all-year-round favourites at annual rock-bottom prices, as well as investing in pricier kit with mega savings. This year I have done my research and there are a few items I’m taking the plunge on. Here’s my hit list for Black Friday beauty buys this year – plus the savings you can make.

Philips

Lumea 8000 Series, now £349 (save £160)
Philips Lumea 8000 Series

I bought this in September and have officially hung up my razor for good. It’s super effective after three to four treatments – in fact I would say astonishingly so. And that’s from someone who has paid top dollar for salon laser appointments in the past. If you’re wavering, it’s definitely worth the investment.

Shark

Cryoglow Under-Eye Cooling And LED Mask, now £264 (save £36)
Cryoglow Under-Eye Cooling And LED Mask

An LED mask has been on my wish-list all year and, after reading a million reviews and polling everyone I know who already has one, this one has come out on top. I love the cooling setting to depuff in the morning and the LED to brighten and smooth wrinkles as an evening treatment. Feedback has been that consistency is key. I’ll let you know how I get on.

Oral B

io2 Electric Toothbrush, now £38 (save £62)
Io2 Electric Toothbrush

Perhaps not particularly exciting, but a great saving on an everyday staple. My hygienist actually noticed when I made the switch from manual to electric toothbrush – and who doesn’t love a ‘well done’ sticker from the dentist?

Tan Luxe

The Gradual, now £14 (save £11)
The Gradual - Gradual Self Tan Lotion Copy

A winter staple in my bathroom, this easy, foolproof formula just takes the edge off my pasty limbs in the depths of winter. This is the lowest price I’ve ever seen it.

Dr Dennis Gross

Vitamin C Lactic Dewy Deep Cream, now £52 (save £25)
Vitamin C Lactic Dewy Deep Cream

Another of my winter staples at a brilliant price point. I love any of Dr Dennis Gross’ Vitamin C range – this is not only brightening but hydrating too. Incredible saving on this mid-winter moisturiser.

Dyson

Airwrap iD, now £399 (save £80)
Airwrap ID

I have road-tested friends’ Airwraps enough times to know they’re worth the investment. This version is perfect for my curls and the new conical wand lets me get closer to my roots for added lift.

John Lewis

Ultimate Grooming Set, now £65 (save £151)
The Ultimate Grooming Box

This one is on my gifting list for my husband. A boxful of brilliant brands, including Aqua di Parma, Aveda, Shisedo and Clinique, all with an amazing £150 saving. But we don’t need to tell him that.

Estee Lauder

The Glow Effect, now £50 (save £100)
Estee Lauder The Glow Effect

Another brilliant gift set saving that I will be popping under the tree for my mother-in-law. Simply, all their Advanced Night Repair heroes in one set, for an incredible £50.

Sunday Riley

Luna Sleeping Night Oil, now £55 (save £30)
Luna Sleeping Night Oil

This is a nightly staple so I will be stocking up and saving the £30. Great on enlarged pores, dark spots and wrinkles – and even with a potent Trans-retinoic acid complex, the added chamomile means I never get any irritation.

Perricone MD

Evening Skincare Bundle, now £99 (save £105)
Perricone MD Evening Skincare Bundle Copy

I absolutely love any Perricone MD products, so it’s great to be able snap up this luxe, high potency set and save over £100. The derm-level efficacy is hard to beat, and the set is designed to nourish, hydrate and smooth: the skincare trifecta.

Elemis

Cleanser Trio, now £55 (save £23)
Balm & Bright Cleansing Trio Skincare Gift Set Copy

Another great one to stock up on, or split up and gift. The deeply nourishing, pro-collagen formula is perfect for wind-whipped, dry winter skin.

Chanel

Rouge Coco Baume, now £30 (save £7)
Rouge Coco Baume – Shine Hydrating Beautifying Tinted Lip Balm Copy

Another nourishing formula is Chanel’s Rouge Coco Baume. A hydrating tinted lip balm that gives just enough colour in a nourishing lip oil formula.
