Authentic experiences and boutique hotels in over fifty wine regions.

Wine lovers and travel enthusiasts alike will appreciate UK based website Winerist. Both a directory of wine travel, as well as a free booking service, Winerist offers authentic experiences and boutique hotels in over 50 wine regions from France, Spain, Georgia, Romania, Argentina, South Africa, New Zealand and many more places besides.

Good wine and good food go hand in hand, and such is the case with Winerist. Many of the trips featured on the site are as much about the enjoyment of local food as they are about the great wine. Check out tours like the Culinary Experience in Puglia or the Wines and Artisan Foods of Uzes if food and cookery is your thing.

Whether you are a highly trained sommelier or an enthusiastic bluffer, Winerist includes all of the information you will need to book the perfect wine holiday experience. Winerist provide independent and authentic advice, all of which is gleaned from close links with local experts, wine guides, connoisseurs and the wine loving community in general. The site is very user-friendly and can be browsed by region, wine hotels, tours or wineries.

The site’s founders, Tatiana Livesey and Diana Isac, originally met at school in Moldova, a small wine-producing country (where both their grandparents made wine). Both women are experts in the wine and culture of Moldova.

For adventurous wine tourists, there are several tours that involve exploring vineyards or winemaking regions by bicycle or even on horseback. For instance, take a look at the Wine, Bike and Lunch at Chateau in Bordeaux or the Equestrian Sherry Tour of Andalucia. Perhaps you would like to combine different tours to make one big trip or are simply looking for a tailor-made holiday based around wine-tasting and food. Winerist will be happy to create a bespoke wine trip to suit your requirements.
