Kelly Eastwood, aka The London Chatter, is a London-based fashion and lifestyle blogger, and resident columnist at Hello! Fashion Monthly. It is Kelly's joie de vivre, chatty writing style, eclectic wardrobe and obvious compassion for causes greater than herself, that keeps her 96,000+ Instagram followers enchanted. Here Kelly gives us the lowdown on her online favourites.
The London Chatter

My favourite website… Domino - I love it for its endless interior inspo and access into the most stylish homes around, and also Good Zing, a database of natural health tips, tricks and cures from across the globe.

My favourite Apps… after Google Maps and Uber, it would be LikeToKnow. It which allows you to ‘like’ or screenshot any of your favourite blogger’s outfits (which have a LikeToKnow. It link in the comment on Instagram) and you will have ready-to-shop links waiting on the app.

My blog of choice… I’m a huge fan of The Frugality and Alex Steadman’s affordable and down-to-earth style, and What Olivia Did with Liv Purvis’ kooky cute humour. I also really enjoy reading brand consultant, Katherine Ormerod’s anti-perfectionist website, Work Work Work, for her frank accounts and her ‘behind the filters’ interviews. All three of these women are smart, supportive and super sassy.

My internet hero... Natalie Massenet - For not only founding Net-A-Porter in 2000 and completely transforming the entire luxury-fashion retail landscape, but for also, according to Vanity Fair, being able to work a quote from ‘When Harry Met Sally’ (one of my all time fave films) into any conversation within three sentences.

My most recent buy online is… the Gjelina cookbook by Travis Lett - My friend, Frances Loom’s Kelly Vittengl, an interior designer who sources and sells the most beautiful antique and vintage rugs, recently cooked us the most delicious lunch from the Gjelina cookbook, including the Venice Beach restaurant’s most famous mushroom toast. I bought the cookbook on Amazon later that night.

I’ve just finished reading... Dr. Gary Chapman’s ‘Five Languages of Love’, which although cheesy in part, I found to be really illuminating. I’m about to start Elizabeth Strout’s ‘My Name Is Lucy Barton’, which I nicked from my friend and the actress Tara Summers' apartment when I was last in New York.

My favourite tweeter... would be Gary Janetti and Anna Kendrick - For the constant #LOLS.

My favourite instagrammers... I love Cleo Wade's powerful words, Rowan Lewis’ ethereal blooms, Innika’s island living family style (and hilarious captions), Hanna Stefansson’s love of colour and huge smile and Eva Chen’s brilliantly entertaining Instastories.

Social media allowed me to meet... Rosanna Falconer, Matthew Williamson’s Business Director - Now a most fantastical friend, and also (*drum roll) Sarah Jessica Parker at the London launch of her latest scent. She was my best friend for a full 45 wonderful seconds.

Most worthwhile newsletter to subscribe to... You Need A PA - It is a pay-as-you-go PA service started by the beyond efficient and brilliantly connected Polly Hadden-Paton. She sends out a monthly newsletter with useful tips, ideas and recommendations. I unsubscribe from most newsletters, but this is one I really look forward to reading.

Pet hate about my life online... Forgetting to look up. I need to remember to smell the roses, not just Instagram them!

My standout online memory was... the launch of my bracelet collaboration with Auree Jewellery at the end of last year - I wanted to use the platform I had created to do something to help the elephant poaching crisis back in Africa, where I grew up. The seven piece, Masai bead inspired collection (£50 - £140) sees 100% profit go to For Rangers, supporting those on the front line of conservation, risking their lives daily to protect some of the world’s most precious, endangered wildlife. So many magazines and bloggers supported me by raising awareness of this cause, and encouraging their readers and followers to buy their own bracelets to help raise much needed funds. The bracelets have just been re-stocked so please go take a peek...

iPhone or Android? My rose gold iPhone all the way... although currently sporting a severely cracked screen, it is still a thing of beauty.
