Georgie Coleridge Cole is founder and Editor of SheerLuxe.com, an online lifestyle magazine that covers everything from fashion and beauty to wellness and travel. Georgie set up SheerLuxe in 2007 as a directory of the best online retailers. It has since morphed into a mega brand with over 150k daily subscribers accessing myriad channels. As well as its daily LuxeMail featuring over ten pieces of daily content, SheerLuxe produces The Brief, a daily newsletter about current affairs. There is also its VIP scheme, the SheerLuxe Podcast, the twice weekly SheerLuxe Show hosted on YouTube and a SheerLuxe Behind-the-Scenes, a documentary-style series about the day-to-day lives of the SheerLuxe team.

To celebrate SheerLuxe winning the 2018 Good Web Guide Fashion Website Award, we caught up with Georgie to gain insight into her digital life.

Winning the 2018 Good Web Guide Fashion Website Award is exciting because... my team at SheerLuxe work incredibly hard. Digital is an exciting but also relentless place to be (plus we're a daily) and we're forever trying to keep ahead of the competition; do more, do better and do it fast. Winning awards and getting recognition for all the hard work makes it feel all the more worthwhile.

My favourite website… this is hard. Other than SheerLuxe, I don’t really spend much time on other sites. I'm generally on my emails working when I'm online. Or shopping on Net-A-Porter probably. Carol Vorderman has just launched a new service called The Maths Factor which I'm working through with my six-year-old son at the moment. It's good.

My favourite app... probably the BBC weather app! I'm a true Brit through and through and always check the weather last thing at night and first thing in the morning. I use my Netflix app in the gym when I'm doing cardio and Sworkit for quick strength based sessions.

My blog of choice… Alexis Foreman's Style Memos - She is truly beautiful both inside and out and has the definition of effortless style. Erna Leon, the founder of Mercer7, has a great edit and is big into capsule wardrobe fashion which I appreciate too.

My internet hero… Amber Venz Box - The founder of rewardStyle because she saw a major opportunity in the influencer space; Natalie Massenet - who doesn’t have huge respect for her? Also, Kathryn Parsons, the founder of Decoded. What Kathryn has achieved is remarkable. She has made learning code accessible and cool.

My favourite podcasts... Sooo many. I love the SL team chat podcast when I'm not in it. My team always amuse me. Then Desert Island Dishes; The Lifestyle Hound (they have great guests) and Social Media Marketing!

My most recent buy online… A £80 H&M coat from their conscious collection.

Book just downloaded/ read… ‘The Vanity Fair Diaries’ by Tina Brown. I loved it.

Favourite tweeter… I haven’t been on twitter for months.

Favourite instagrammer… Giorgia Tordini - Her style is incredible.

Social media allowed me to meet... Lisa Potter-Dixon - Our new beauty columnist.

Most worthwhile newsletter subscribed to… The Brief - Our daily email. It's a roundup of the latest news and current affairs in one neat daily email. I don’t have time to read a newspaper or watch the news so it's a godsend.

Pet hate about life online… That it never sleeps. Except over Christmas, the best break of the year.
