Susannah Garrod has been busy since we last spoke to her when she told us about her favourite instagrammers.

The British artist and illustrator of fashion and beauty has a new project, which she calls her
‘little labour of love!’ After working on projects for clients including The Berkeley Hotel, British Vogue, Jimmy Choo, Emilia Wickstead, Jessica McCormack and Patek Philippe, Susannah is now transporting us back to the wonderfully cosy era of 19th century Victorian evenings, with her beautiful collection of Candle Shades.

As we begin hibernation season, the timing couldn’t be more perfect. Hand painted on flame retardant parchment, each design gives off a beautiful glow to our cosy evening interiors. Diffusing the light from the candle flame and eliminating glare, they add glamour and atmosphere to a dinner table (as well as flattering to the complexion!)

Petite enough to add statement to the shallowest of mantle pieces, and the perfect size for a bedside table, the collection is ‘chop and change’ - so you can buy more shades than carriers and swap them around to suit mood from day to day.
