Scalloped edges have been a big story across fashion and interiors for a little while now, and our obsession shows absolutely no sign abating. Exquisitely pretty, evocative of seashores, and reminiscent of Botticelli’s Venus, we’d go so far as to say that most things are made better with the addition of a scallop. This crop is the very best of the best.

Cream Swirl Earthenware – Scalloped Dinner Plate, £135 Copy

Friends Ben Pentreath and Bridie Hall came to open their seductive Aladdin’s cave with the most perfect of shop fronts quite by accident. When he took over the building on Rugby Street it was to expand his interior design and architecture office. Together, they transformed part of the front room into tiny shop as an experiment, and from there, it grew and grew both in size and reputation. There are a few beautiful scalloped pieces in the collection, but our very favourite is this summery Cream Swirl Earthenware – Scalloped Dinner Plate. Buy it here.
