11 Cool Yet Cosy Woollen Bibs To You Toasty This Winter
The best bang-on-trend bibs and tabards for seasonal layering.
If you buy only one piece of knitwear this winter, it should probably be, ahem, the woollen bib. What is it, you ask? Half snood, half roll neck jumper; the bib is practical dressing personified. The bib (or tabard) is an enlarged sleeveless vest with open sides that covers the chest and back. Some have ties on the sides, others flap to the wind. If layering knits is key to reaching optimum temperature, the bib is the missing item you didn’t know your wardrobe needed.
The trend for woollen bibs is a curious but welcome one. Nobody wants to get sweaty by over-layering knits or bulking up with big jumpers. Yet there’s nothing worse than feeling a biting chill. To combat such temperature dilemma, slip a bib over a shirt or under a jacket. Hey presto, you’ll get the warmth of a roll neck without looking like the Michelin man.
Here we find eleven bibs to help you layer your knits this winter.
