Inside Scoop: Interiors Round Up Of The Week

These are the gorgeous pieces for the home we’re lusting after this week.

The effects of the past year on the things that have aroused interest have been revealing. While some former diversions – such as donning fancy frocks and shoes – have faded to insignificance by and large, others have become more preoccupying than ever before. Chief amongst these is our commitment to making the house look as lovely as it possibly can. After all, if we’re to spend more time inside it than usual, it feels all the more imperative that it should at least be pleasing on the eye, as well as cossetting and comforting.

With everyone stuck at home, however, our four walls have taken a knock or two themselves – which is why it’s a good moment to treat yourself to a little something to pep up your surroundings, and thus your spirits. Never mind that the sum total of our plans are to watch TV or read on the sofa; we shall, at least, do so in style. These are the pieces that caught our eye this week.
