At The Good Web Guide, we find it exciting when a site manages to combine exquisite design and hi-tech functionality with a healthy, mindful ethos.

Ingredients LDN is one of these sites. Enticing from the very off, it describes itself as a “boutique interior and lifestyle store that celebrates a slower pace of living”.

Founded and beautifully curated by Nina Plummer, who is based in Edinburgh, the site exists to encourage everybody in their pursuit of wellness.

Nina says: “On the one hand, my background is in psychology. I spent several years working as a clinical psychologist supporting people to move forward from depression and anxiety. On the other hand, I also spent some time developing and consulting brands on strategy, positioning and consumer insights.

“ILDN is a combination of my passion for the big and wonderful ideas coming out of psychology and philosophy and my interest in translating these into a tangible brand.”

Her brand – bolstered by its online journal and glorious Instagram feed @ingredientsldn – is utterly calming and soothing. Whether you purchase or just peruse, any sort of engagement with Ingredients LDN is uplifting.

Ingredients LDN Hand Dried Velvet Cushion

Frankly, we would like one of the jewel-coloured velvet cushions – which are handmade in Suffolk and hung up outside to dry – in every hue but dappled green is the winner in a strong field.

Ingredients LDN Dove Grey Natural Linen Bedding

Linen bed sheets are warm but breathable, homely but hardwearing – and they don’t come much prettier than this dove grey set.

Ingredients LDN Pallares Kitchen Knife Set

These Pallares Solsona Kitchen Knives have been handcrafted in a small town in Spain for three generations now. With their charming boxwood handles and carbon steel blades, they are among Ingredients LDN’s bestsellers.

Ingredients LDN Natural Body Oil

Restore the balance you crave with this Turmeric Rose Bath and Body Oil, which is blended by hand in the US.

Basically, we urge you to take three deep breaths (in through your nose and out through your mouth, remember), do yourself a favour and spend some time on this website.
