Got an AGA? Or a terrier? For a wellies and Champagne-type existence, you must know all about Sophie Allport. She is the talented artist gracing kitchens countrywide with her dog, highland stag, bee and heart prints that adorn fine bone china, kitchen textiles, tinware, and oilcloth.

Over twenty years ago, she graduated (with a First, no less) in Graphic Art and Design. Since then, she has worked at an illustration agency, sold her own illustrations and had three sons. She has also set up her homewares line, an utterly charming, very British family business.

My favourite website... Pinterest - In the real world, I’m always creating pin boards to help me with new collections and inspiration. Pinterest offers me the same creativity with access to so many more ideas and images.

My favourite app... Airbnb - It’s always lovely to find a place whilst on holiday that enables you to live like a local. Staying with Airbnb is a good way of exploring the town/city you’re in using the expert knowledge of the homeowner.

My blog of choice... The Home that Made Me - Charlotte is a mother of two and a dog owner who is a little crafting and interior obsessed, in her own words. Her blog is about her turning her house into a home, sometimes even giving her followers the option to choose the scheme for the next room she does.

My most recent buy online... a chunky knitted blanket - Lauren Aston is an incredibly talented girl with giant knitting needles. She makes lovely knitted homewares that are super soft and cosy, and, after seeing her work in the ‘My Country Business Awards’, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on one.

Book just downloaded/ read... The Girl On the Train - I’m really looking forward to seeing the film.

Favourite tweeter... @housetohome - This includes everything from inspirational country homes and seasonal decorations to top tips and trend news.

Favourite instagrammer... @carasuthers - Her Instagram page is full of adorable pictures of her two young boys, doting dogs, and her beautiful home. What more could you want?

Social media allowed me to meet... the lovely Geri Horner (Halliwell) - She posted a gorgeous pic of herself using our Terrier oven gloves and apron as she prepared herself for the GBBO. I then met her in person on our stand at the Chelsea Flower Show this year.

Most worthwhile newsletter subscribed to... Country Living.

Stand out online memory... The day we launched our first website.

Pet hate about life online... Spoiler alerts. If I miss GBBO or Strictly and have to watch it on catch up, it’s almost impossible to go online without finding out who has gone before you’ve even watched the episode.
