A cosy brand based in Scotland, PAIRS has been designing luxury socks since 2020. Inspired by the simple joys of life, founders Anna and Alice set out to bring luxury and sustainability to the humble sock and embarked on a mission to revolutionize sock drawers everywhere.

Their capsule collections of socks are made from materials sourced from family-run mills across the UK. Traditionally made in Britain, hand finished and hand linked for comfort, Pairs Scotland is not just about socks, but about redefining comfort in everyday wear.
With a background in finance and marketing, Alice and Anna blend their expertise to create a brand that celebrates the little things that bring happiness. Following school, Alice studied Economics at the University of Edinburgh. She went on to train as a Chartered Accountant and later became an investment manager. After she and her husband married, they relocated to the beautiful Perthshire countryside and Alice was keen to start a business that worked around her busy family life. During a cold walk with her young daughter she was frustrated by socks that couldn’t withstand Highlands weather, so she set out to create her own.

She met her future business partner at a mother and toddler group and Lockdown presented the pair with an opportunity to get their new online business project underway.
Pairs source the world’s finest fibres - Alpaca, Mohair, Merino, Bamboo, and Wool, working alongside dedicated makers. Softer than sheep's wool, alpaca wool is a luxurious choice for your feet and a great investment, due to the durable and long-lasting nature. Alpaca wool also possesses several natural properties: it is odour-resistant, soft, hypoallergenic, moisture-wicking, breathable, and a fantastic insulator.

Making the perfect gifts for this time of year, they have a colour suited to everyone, and also sell sets of four to start your collection.
