The features are great, the design is arresting and all the hard work’s done for you – what’s not to like?
FACT MAGAZINE
‘New music and music news’ is the tag line, and that pretty much sums up Fact – although it doesn’t go anywhere close to explaining just how great an online publication it is with all manner of insider features, reviews and videos. Don’t miss FACT TV for an added insight into up and coming artists as well as those already established.
I LIKE MUSIC
An online music magazine with a difference, I Like Music have a serious USP in the form of their role as Music Service Provider to both the B2C and B2B markets which makes them owners of one of the ‘world’s most comprehensive and complete music libraries’ – suffice to say they’re well placed to comment on all kinds of musical trends (not to mention the artists with which they originate.)
CONSEQUENCE OF SOUND
If you’re interested in the worldwide music scene, then Consequence of Sound is a destination domain. The Chicago based online publication reports on breaking news, builds interest in new voices and aims to be the first to report on festival lineups, giving you the inside scoop.
STEREOGUM
If it’s an indie slant you’re looking for, then Stereogum is well worth a look, primarily because you can download and stream from the site. But perhaps their most prevalent USP is that they’ve been instrumental in the discovery of some serious talent over the last few years such as Vampire Weekend (a perennial favourite in The GWG office). Just a seriously well edited site, with the visuals to match.
