From a new Queen to a comedian in the ascendant, we shine a light here on the ones to watch this year. We’re expecting big things.

Jeremy Allen White

You don’t have to have watched The Bear on Disney+ to be in love with its star, Jeremy Allen White, but we highly recommend that you watch it anyway. Start at the beginning now and you’ll have caught up by the time Series Three drops. JAW plays a brilliant young chef who returns to his hometown to mop up the mess his brother has left behind in the family sandwich joint. He is endlessly watchable. If you don’t trust us, trust Calvin Klein who have just got him modelling their pants.

Brianna Wiest

Brianna Wiest is an internationally bestselling author whose self-help books sell in their millions. Her latest, The Pivot Year: 365 to Become the Person You Truly Want to Be, is brimming with transformative passages about how to do life today. The 31-year-old is impossibly wise, and her advice resonates with an entire generation.

Barry Keoghan

Some eagle-eyed watchers knew him from Dunkirk, others from The Banshees of Inisherin. Then everybody watched him, with their eyes on stalks, in Saltburn over Christmas, which secured his place on the map. Keoghan has both an Oscar and a BAFTA under his belt, so it seems unfair that we are only really talking about him now – but them’s the breaks. This guy’s backstory and talent will make you weep in equal measure.

Queen Mary Of Denmark

Crown Princess Mary, the elegant former advertising executive from Tasmania, became the Queen of Denmark this month, following the recent abdication of her mother-in-law, Queen Margrethe. With her mastery of Danish as a second language, charitable interests and status as a style icon, the world has been quietly impressed with Mary since she joined the Danish Royal Family as Crown Princess in 2004. Word is that the keen equestrian and poised mother of four will make a massive impact now that the crown has been placed on her level head.

Henry Rowley

London-born hottie Henry Rowley recently quit his job in marketing because his comedy career has taken off with such gusto. From his live shows at the Edinburgh Fringe to his staggering Tik Tok following, Rowley is making mimicry cool. His impressions are so good that they even make him laugh. Tatler says: ‘His online comedy … is a masterclass in observational humour; shrewd characters – from personifications of British universities like Oxford and Leeds to his spot-on husky-voiced Sloanes, Tilly and Minty. They are painfully relatable in their accuracy.’
