The Good Webcast spoke to Turi Munthe, the founder and CEO of Demotix, a website which works to address this problem.

Demotix calls itself a 'street wire' service, and acts as a broker between so-called citizen journalists and mainstream media outlets such as the Guardian, The New York Times and the BBC. Turi talked to us about why he set up the site, how it works, and the role of the amateur in the digital age.
