We've spoken to many friends who are not going away this summer but choosing to spend holiday time in their homes or if in search of a bit of adventure, are renting a holiday cottage somewhere in the countryside. The thought of busy airports, cancelled flights and that's even before you've thought about the packing, isn't much fun. How much nicer it is to stay put. First off, you won't be bound by fierce airline luggage restrictions and you'll be saving quite a bit of money. All this means, that you can treat you and your family to some treats, which don't cost the earth but will make your time off seem a little bit more special.

These are the things that we've got our eyes on, which we can use over the summer and as we head into September. Just remember to make sure you give yourself and your family to sit back, play games and relax.
