Collection Polizzi

Hotels With Shops Polizzi Collection

It was inevitable that Olga Polizzi and her daughter Alex, grandes dames of the English hospitality scene, would eventually open a chic shop. Distilling the essence of a tasteful hotel into little buys that guests can take home elevates the already joyful experience. The Polizzis chose the building next door to their boutique hotel The Star in Alfriston East Sussex, for their first retail site. The Collection Polizzi stocks clothes, homewares and skincare, lots of which is exactly what hotel guests are treated to next door. Alex Polizzi says: ‘This is a completely new venture for us, and it is both exciting and nerve-wracking!

Here, we look at the nation’s other great hotels with shops. Warning: by the end of the article, you will either be booking in or fantasising about it.
