Quilts In: 24 Ways With A Quilt This Autumn
It’s the time of year to wrap up cosy. Happily, never has quilting looked quite so good.
There are few things in life that are quite as snug as a good quilt. Plumper than a blanket and more home-spun than a duvet, a quilt is just the thing in which to wrap up as the temperatures dip and the nights grow steadily colder. And, as concerns about energy prices continue to dominate the news, there has never been a better time for investing in a warming quilt to keep out winter chills. From blankets to bags, jackets to scarves, these are the pillowy beauties we’re eyeing up for the cooler days ahead.
    Blankets
There is nothing as cosseting as a quilt, whether you use yours as a bedspread or a handy blanket on the sofa. These ones make our most-wanted list.

                            Jackets
We may not quite have reached the point when we’re reaching for a quilted jacket to keep out the cold – but it won’t be long now. And when that moment hits, announcing itself with a blast of icy air, we’ll be wrapped up and ready.

                            Bags
As the seasons shifts, we want to surround ourselves with softness – and that includes arm candy. Both useful and beautiful, these quilted bags also double up as an ad hoc pillow, which we’d call a win.
                                Scarves
A good scarf is a winter essential. But once you try a quilted one, there is no turning back. Wrap up toasty and warm with this cosy and cool selection.
