Founded by sisters Basak and Defne Kocabiyikoglu, Nackiyé (a Turkish word taken from their great grandmother’s name) was inspired by the pair’s childhood spent in rural fishing towns in the Eastern Mediterranean.

The label is a collection of individually designed artisanal garments that celebrate the charm and relaxed glamour of this part of the world. From contemporary-chic workwear to sumptuous eveningwear, the brand offers versatile pieces that can be worn for multiple occasions. As its signature garment, they offer custom-tailored coats and blazers with intricate details like contrast-coloured seams and modern silhouettes.

Wearable enough for both holidays and for city life, pieces include a variety of local dress styles, harem pants, billowy bright block-coloured dresses, silk kaftans and tops and skirts with ruffles.

Collaborations with global artisans help bring the luxury fabrics to life and demonstrate the brand’s commitment to sustainability and craftsmanship.

The Nackiyé silhouette is relaxed yet elegant with uncomplicated styles.

If you’re looking to make a statement, Nackiyé’s maximal details are not to be missed. Voluminous balloon sleeves, jaw-skimming necklines and exaggerated silhouettes feature heavily.

Vibrant contrasting colours, floral prints and delicate embroideries perfectly sync with the spirit of the idyllic destinations.

Grand Bazaar

Of course I am immediately drawn to the dresses, my favourites are the Grand Bazaar, and Antiparos ,but they stock outerwear, tops and bottoms.

I also love the Lilibeth cape.

And the sister's are not stopping at clothing. The first addition to the brand’s homewares collection Salon is a family of ceramic dishes entirely made by hand in Kutahya, one of the oldest known Anatolian towns that, for centuries, lay along the ancient trade routes connecting the Aegean Sea to the plains of Mesopotamia.

A patchwork of cultures, religions and rituals, Kutahya is also where Nackiyé’s family roots lie within.

Linens and towels are also coming soon!
