Ateljé started as a passion project for founder Yara Michels. Building an Instagram following of 155k during her career as a tv-host and editor in chief of one of Holland’s biggest millennial women's magazines, Yara shares content about personal style, career and female politics.

A mother of 2 children and always looking for easy solutions to make life slightly more efficient, she was obsessed with phone cords but could only find basic, bland cords and wanted something fun that expressed personal style. Ateljé, the Swedish word for Atelier was started when she made a few for herself and immediately got asked ‘where did you get that?’ from women every day.

Adding personality to your essential tech, the phone cords, cases and sleeves are designed in bold colours and playful textures, and made entirely from recycled plastics.

One of the company’s core missions, and something setting them apart from competitors, is striving to get greener month by month.

After over three years of testing, they finally managed to produce a phone case mould that is compatible for 100% recycled plastic (TPU) material. Now all the transparent cases and colourful cases are made of recycled plastic.

For the cords, they have converted nylon cords to 100% recycled nylon.
And the man made artificial pearls are now also fully made of recycled plastic (ABS).
When it comes to delivery and shipping, 25% of packages within the Netherlands are delivered the Dutch way, by bike company Cycloon.

Your items arrive in plastic free packaging made from a FSC certified paper. The wrapping paper and stickers are made from recycled paper and coloured with soy ink. For smaller deliveries, grass paper envelopes are used, eliminating bubble wrap.

This is what's new for Summer 2025.
