I’d like to find the Chunky Entwine Ring, £78, from Lucy Williams’s collaboration with Missoma under the tree this year. I love this partnership because Lucy Williams’s (@lucywilliams02) taste is impeccable and Missoma admirably offers remarkable jewellery at accessible prices.

I have asked Father Christmas (aka my husband) for a yoga retreat this year. I have wanted to escape with Wild Times for years now and 2026 is my time. Now I just have to decide: a Moroccan kasbah or a Swedish lakeside? Both sound like bliss.

I love these brown suede boots, £255, from Flattered and know they’ll be endlessly useful – and even better, they’re currently on sale. They’re the perfect height to wear with smart trousers or jeans.

Inspired by the wonderful Natalia Violet Antiques’ entreaty for us all to have ourselves a pre-loved Christmas, I am very much hoping for a wonderful vintage American quilted bedspread – ideally something as beautiful as this one from hesta.nesta68. We are deep in nesting season, and beautiful textiles soften everything. Failing that, mugs are a weakness of mine — anything by ceramicists Jack Welbourne or Ben Hall would make me very happy.

I have enough bits and bobs in my life, that said though, there is always room for one more thing. Here I'm tied between two objects, both equally lovely. The first is the Plait Platter from Ferm Living (£79). The platter references basket weaving techniques and although not wholly practical, I love the rich green of this one. Clementines would look just perfect sitting on it.

I can't resist including Geoffrey Preston's acanthus leaves (£240), which I've gifted in the past, but would very much like my own. They are cast in plaster of Paris and can be hung on a wall. They are very simple but beautiful and calming to look at.
