Skin, land and ocean safe
Inspired by childhood visits to the Great Barrier Reef and a later trip that highlighted the damaging effects of plastic pollution and conventional beauty ingredients on marine ecosystems, she set out to create a brand truly 'from the sea, for the sea.'
Blue beauty
The company combines high-performance skincare with a commitment to sustainability through what it calls 'Blue Beauty', which means the products are safe for both people and the ocean. The products are formulated with reef-safe ingredients. At the core of every product is a Uni Marine Complex, blending sustainably sourced marine actives including Tasmanian Sea Kelp, Bladderwrack Seaweed, and Red Macroalga, alongside Australian native ingredients like Kakadu plum, Aloe Vera, and Caviar Lime.
The hero product is the 24-Hour Body Serum.

Helping reduce plastic waste
uni. quickly distinguished itself through its innovative closed-loop refill system, developed with renowned creative director Marc Atlan, whose previous work includes luxury brands such as Comme des Garçons and Tom Ford. The products are packaged in reusable dispensers with 100% recycled aluminium refill bottles, helping reduce single-use plastic waste.
Keating has attracted significant investment for Uni, including an early $4 million seed round led by SOUNDWaves, the sustainability investment vehicle backed by Guy Oseary and Ashton Kutcher. More recently, the brand secured investment from Break Trail Ventures and L'Oréal's venture fund, BOLD, to support expansion.
Available from Space NK
uni. launched in the UK exclusively at Space NK in 2025 and Kaia Gerber has become Uni's first Creative Partner in Residence after being a longtime fan of the products.
