Running a deep, jewel-colour kohl around the rim of your eyelid is a great way of adding drama in one fool-proof sweep. No precision required, smudge and wiggle between your lashes then finish with a slick of the deepest black mascara for added oomph.
For A Smoky Eye
If you want to create a classic smoky eye, layer up your shadow to create a signature sultry, ombre effect then use a soft tonal eye pencil to add definition around the lash line.
For A Winged Liner
A graphic wing liner does require a steady hand and a precision nib. To get the angle of your flick just right, hold a pencil in line with the end your nose and the outer corner of your eye, and then angle it toward the end of your eyebrow.
