I discovered Bramley last year when staying at the Pig near Bath. After long daily muddy walks followed by long bubble baths, the beautiful smell of the products added to the welcome return back to the room.

I found the same bath wash and shampoo online and placed an order to use in London.

Based in the heart of the British countryside, Bramley produce a small collection of bath and body products that are completely natural and inspired by the beauty and therapeutic properties of plants. Everything is manufactured in the UK and ingredients do not contain any artificial colours, are never tested on animals and packaging is 100% recyclable. The unique blend ingredients of apple seed oil and organic apple extract with 100% natural botanicals are bio-degradable and are safe to be washed into rivers and oceans.

Created by Chloƫ Luxton, who previously worked at Cowshed, the Bramley range was first created for the bathrooms at the first pub she owns with her husband, The Beckford Arms, in Wiltshire. She wanted something that would capture the essence of the surrounding countryside.

Not surprisingly word soon spread and wholesale and mail order requests for Bramley products started to grow. Bramley can now be found in over 500 like-minded hotels, pubs, restaurants and shops, including Liberty. The range has now extended to include candles, room fragrance and Little B. Look out for the 2019 Fortnums advent calendar where Bramley will be hiding behind one of the doors.

And when you run out of bubble bath? With nature always at the forefront they set out from the beginning to introduce refillable, full size products. Avoiding single use plastic is a key priority and Bramley are excited to have recently introduced 250ml glass bottles to the range. Even if you have the small 100ml empty bottles, it is worth checking where your nearest refill shop is based. I take mine to The Source in Battersea which stocks 4 of the Bramley bath products so I can top up immediately without buying a new container every time.
