What you need to know about The GWG Awards in five points.

As the closing date for entries draws closer, here is a summary of the information you need to know. In a recent article, Chris Robinson of Boost Marketing, said, "The Good Web Guide Awards are excellent for any business where customers and other stakeholders need reassurance that the website is not just good, but the best." 1. Any site can enter. We are looking for sites that go the extra mile, whether it’s an SME or a business with a turnover of millions. It is a level playing field when it comes to judging. For more info...

2. The closing date is midnight 9th October. It takes just a few minutes to enter, answering a few simple questions. Entries are not dependent on long essays as to why they should win. The cost to enter one category is £45 exc VAT.

3. Shortlisted sites are invited to attend the reception on Monday 16th November at The Royal Institution of Great Britain, Albemarle Street, London W1, with an allocation of two guests per site. Nick Hungerford, co-founder of Nutmeg, the fastest growing investment management business in the UK and GWG Website of the Year 2014, will announce the winners, with the winning site taking home prizes worth over £9000.
