The go-to place for personalised jewellery and unusual gifts.

Set up by Alice River-Cripps in 2004, Posh Totty Designs is now recognised as the go-to place for personalised jewellery and unusual gifts. Much of what you will find here has been lovingly handmade in the Posh Totty workshop in Brighton where Alice has gathered a solid team of thiry or so employees, all of whom lend their own layer of expertise and creativity to the mix. For standout gifts with a personal touch (that won’t break the bank) you are unlikely to do better.

A favourite of many a celeb (Richard Curtis and Emma Freud are regular customers), Posh Totty Designs specialises in personalised jewellery, ranging from personalised bracelets and men’s cufflinks to Christening spoons and wedding jewellery. There are several jewellery collections to browse through, featuring mixed metals, geometric shapes, hearts, stars and the 9ct gold collection; more than enough variety to satisfy all tastes. Each piece will be handmade from start to finish by one of the team of Posh Totty jewellers and any text will be hand stamped into the metal, a process that Alice developed herself. Couples on the hunt for a wedding or engagement ring should take note, as a simple gold or silver band could be embellished with a secret inscription on the inside.

In these impatient times, it is wise to remember that handmade items will (and should) take longer than your instant-click-throwaway orders from budget sites. Most items are turned around in a week too, so it’s quicker than the customer may expect. Prospective buyers should take note that each personalised jewellery item will show a final date of delivery on its personal product page. For those in a tearing hurry (shameful last minuters, you know who you are), it is possible to upgrade to a three working day delivery service at a cost of £25. Delivery is free for all orders over £25.

Jewellery aside, Posh Totty has expanded its remit over the years, to include a whole host of quirky and wonderful personalised gifts. A travel journal, personalised with a vintage map? Yep. A personalised leather keyring? Of course. A stuffed toy replica of one of your child’s drawings? Yes, even that; and the team are constantly coming up with new, exciting ideas for one-off gifts. Explore the site via the arranged categories of Her, Him, Little Ones, Weddings, Home & Living - you may well find the perfect gift solution for some of those tricky customers (father-in-law, ushers, bridesmaids...). The Home & Living section is a fairly recent addition, but rich indeed, with gorgeous glass and ceramic knick-knacks, jaunty textiles, quirky wall stickers and many other splendid bits and pieces with which to prettify your home.

Posh Totty Designs also has two shops in Brighton and a Pop Up Shop under the arches on Brighton seafront during the summer months. For more information on its shops, click here.
