Keshav Anand tells us about the website celebrating people defining new standards and tastes in London.

Something Curated is the ultimate resource for the creatively minded and aspirational. It celebrates people setting new standards across sectors including art, culture, dining, fashion, architecture, retail and more. At present, Something Curated is London focused but plan to expand into other cities. Keshav Anand tells us more...

What was the inspiration for the site?

We felt there were no guides for creatively minded people. So many publications think in terms of age groups but we are more concerned with reaching people like ourselves who think creatively and want to live a certain way. The site delivers that with profiles, interviews, guide content and think pieces.

When did you launch the site?

May 2016

What are your greatest challenges?

This started as a passion project and continues to be so. Anything new we encounter is exciting and doesn't feel like a challenge.

Who do you admire in business?

Jefferson Hack, co-founder of Dazed for pivoting into digital when so many people didn't effectively and for maintaining counter culture appeal for so long.

Please recommend a website that helps you promote or run your business

Instagram - We were lucky that we built an early following there that let people know about us. Google Analytics for tracking activity.

What is the best piece of business advice you've been given?

Keep going!

What is your motto?

We think in terms of narratives, experiences, aesthetics and cultural resonance.

Where do you see the business going from here?

Reaching more people and growing to cover New York and other cities.
