Paybase is a B2B payments single page website aimed at providing company information through aesthetic and interactive design.

What was the inspiration for the site?

People and tech. At Paybase, we’re a highly motivated, close-knit team of ambitious and visionary people. Together, we had a series of internal workshops to understand our main aims, UX, content, and target audience. As a result wexperimented with ideas on how we could visually represent difficult information in an easy to digest way whilst leveraging the latest tech with interactive design.

What are your greatest challenges?

Our greatest challenge is perfecting our messaging for our target audiences. This is a learning process which we are currently going through. New content and pages coming soon! Watch this space.

What's your background?

At Paybase, we are proud to have a growing team of passionate and talented individuals with skills in technical solutions, design and marketing, operations and compliance, and business development and management.

Who do you admire in business?

Stripe, a forward-looking payment gateway, is one company that we would single out as a major game changer in the FinTech space. Stripe is a tech-first company and takes the best technology and applies it to a payment gateway, producing an excellent, easy-to-integrate product.

What Stripe has done to the payment gateway world, we are doing to the eMoney world - reducing, cost, complexity and knowledge barriers with the help of technology. Stripe, for instance, were one of the first payments companies to openly display their API documentation on their website and to make payments accessible – it is this type of transparency that has inspired our own values.

What is the best piece of business advice you've been given?

Continual iteration. It is critical to constantly improve what you're doing and how you are doing it and not be afraid to question things.

Better. Cheaper. Faster.

Where do you see the business going from here?

We see ourselves as becoming the go-to partner for all forward looking companies that are trying to build a cool and innovative product leveraging payments. We want the word ‘Paybase’ to become synonymous with affordable, accessible and flexible payments infrastructure.

Have you entered an award before?

We have only recently started to enter awards to showcase our inhouse design and tech capabilities that we are really proud of. Winning to us means inspiring people rather than winning an award.
