Like many Caribbean islands, Barbados has handled the pandemic remarkably well. Although autumn is the low season, this could be a wonderful time to visit. Book ahead with confidence
Peak Retreats, which offers self-drive holidays in the Alps, has a low deposit of £100 on summer 2021. And if you book by 31 October, you can change dates for free up to 31 March 2021. It also has flexible booking terms on its winter ski holidays.
For winter sun, the five-star W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island has three nights for just £620 pp including flights, free upgrade to half board and free access to Yas Beach Club. The offer is available between 14 December 2020 and 30 September 2021 with Etihad Holidays.
Cruise holidays look unlikely to restart before 2021 but you can grab a bargain if you book ahead. Iglu Cruise has a 24-night Asia cruise in October 2021 on Royal Caribbean’s flagship Voyager of the Seas, including a 12-night land tour of China with Wendy Wu Tours plus ports of call in Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore, from £2,599 pp including flights.
