Tom Aikens, Michelin starred chef and restaurateur, picks his favourite sites.

Tom Aikens, Michelin starred chef, has worked with some of the finest chefs in the world and is one of a handful of the most exciting chefs in the UK today.

Tom runs Tom's Kitchen in London, an informal all-day dining restaurant serving comfort food with one in Chelsea and the other at Somerset House. His other establishment, Tom Aikens Restaurant, in Elystan Street, reopens next month after refurbishment. Tom is the author of several books, the most recent being Tom Aikens Easy, published in April this year, which is simple cooking in minutes as opposed to hours. He also appears regularly on TV with appearances on Saturday Kitchen, Market Kitchen, The Wright Stuff, Iron Chef and Great British Menu and the BBC Young Chef of the Year.

When Tom isn't cooking, his other passions are working with conservation groups including WWF, Greenpeace, MCS promoting fish sustainability and Fish 2 Fork. He helps raise money for charities for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Campaign, Kiss It Better, Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign, Mothers4Children, amongst others. He is passionate about cycling and has raced in the Marmotte, Luc Alphand and the Etape de Tour up Mount Ventoux. He has run the London Marathon a couple of times and has completed the Marathon des Sables in 2010, running six marathons across the Sahara desert in five days.

In 2012, Tom Aikens will be on the judging panel for The Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year, a new award aimed at both professional and amateur photongraphers in search of 'food photography at its best and most inspiring.'

Mr Porter - The best shopping site for Men, you can browse as much as you like and then  shop away, ideal for any time of year, plus they give lots of tips on grooming, where to go where to stay, plus of course how to dress.

Daylesford Organic - The best online organic shop. You can buy all that you need direct from Daylesford from the bakery, creamery and the farm kitchen as well as the market garden. They also have a fabulous cookery school should you want to go.

David Linley - David and I have done a joint collaboration with some very beautiful kitchen utensils, chopping boards and knives, so why not spoil your self rotten. The best quality and longlasting.

Ren Skin care for Men - Even us hard men need some softening, the best in facial aid and creams, all organic and they deliver of course.

Flint Wines - Whatever you need these guys have it all, plus they have Gearoid Devaney, a master Sommelier, whether its building a fine wine cellar or just wine for home, they can cover all your needs.

La Cave a Fromage - The best suppliers of cheese in London. We use them at the restaurant and they offer a wide selection and advice.

Ten UK Concierge Service - I use them a lot to sort out all the boring things that we don’t have the time for - plumbing issues, sorting out tickets for events. All the things we hate to do, they love to fix, so for me one of the best things to have.
