Bestselling author of How to Style your Brand and Brand Brilliance, the Brand Stylist shows us around her web.

Killer brands don’t just happen. There lies a science behind styling a brand identity to ensure it outdoes rival competition. We know just the lady to help; she is called Fiona Humberstone and is author of the bestselling book 'How To Style Your Brand' and more recently, 'Brand Brilliance'. Fiona has been developing brands, creating websites and running business workshops for nearly twenty years. Fiona now works as a freelance Creative Director for branding projects and consults for design agencies.

My favourite website… SpaceNK - I adore that brand and love how their online works with their bricks and mortar stores.

My blog of choice… Wardrobe Icons - The fashion editors bring out a magazine a couple of times a month and I adore it. I can't afford much in there, but it's packed with inspiration and I love Laura Fantacci and Petro Stoffberg's style.

My most recent buy online… Well, over Christmas, it was parcels that just kept on arriving! I think the last thing I bought was a gift for my husband.

The book I just downloaded/read… I love a real book and don't own a Kindle. Philip Pulman's ‘Northern Lights’ is currently on my bedside table but I've been devouring cookbooks over Christmas as I was hosting so I read a lot of Jamie Oliver books.

My internet hero… Holly Becker - I think Holly has done amazing things for blogging and social media with her interior design, travel and lifestyle blog, decor8. I love her creativity, energy and eye.

My favourite instagrammer… I have so many! I adore Gudy Herder's aesthetic. She is an interiors and lifestyle trend expert.

Social media allowed me to meet... I've met so many amazing people through Instagram, it's hard to pinpoint just one. Without it, my business wouldn't be the same. It's been utterly empowering for me.

My pet hate about life online… The expectation that there should be no downtime and the (often played out truth) that you have to be present at all times. I've recently set a system in place where I do something inspiring and productive first and only after lunchtime do I check my emails. It's made a massive difference to my day.

My standout online memory… launching my new book, Brand Brilliance and seeing the wave of enthusiasm hit me from all corners of the world. That's been really special.

My favourite social media tool… Instagram - No question! I'm a really visual person so it works really well for me. And I love the sense of community.

My favourite communications tool/app… Instagram! Or 'Snapseed' which I use to add a lovely light, bright air to my images.

iPhone or Android? iPhone all the way.
