Bec Astley Clarke, founder of designer jewellery brand, Astley Clarke, chooses her favourite sites.

Bec Astley Clarke is the Founder and Managing Director of designer jewellery brand Astley Clarke; launched in 2006 with the ambition of becoming the world’s leading online jewellery boutique.

Bec’s vision to create a luxury jewellery environment was an industry first. She is passionate about educating and informing customers on all aspects of jewellery and constantly invests in new, creative drivers that offer the luxury consumer a unique experience; including advice from in-house gemmologists on gemstones, precious metals, design and craftsmanship.

In April, internet entrepreneur Carmen Busquets invested in Astley Clarke, bringing to the business a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the online luxury market.

Astley Clarke has retail concessions in Liberty, Harrods and since October 2012 in Selfridges flagship store, London.

Astley Clarke - Of course, my number one website has to be Astley Clarke. With new jewellery collections arriving every week, designed at our London Design Studio, and a wonderful edit of the best designers - our online store is out of this world. Experience old-school luxury customer service or nip behind the scenes by visiting our blog and researching our gemstone guides.

Thornback and Peel – My friends Delia and Juliet do the most wonderful printed designs. I have cushions with flowers and insects on them all over my sitting room.

Berry Bros & Rudd - Berry Bros online store is superb for wine. I was lucky enough recently to go on a private tour of their cellars – it is like going back in time.

Pinterest – I am addicted to Pinterest and Instagram. I just love collecting clippings and having one digital place where I can store and share them all.

Business of Fashion - The Business of Fashion newsletter is my essential daily read. Great for breaking news stories and informed interviews. I always read the regular CEO feature - it makes for compelling reading.

The Jewellery Editor - Maria Doulton, freelance jewellery journalist and founder of the Jewellery Editor, has such an incredible wealth of jewellery knowledge - I often dip in for a bit of jewellery news.
