Despite the warm weather, Anna hasn't abandoned her cashmere just yet. Here she looks at what's on offer at this covetable brand.
With a trip to Poland booked for next week and a weekend in Somerset, I am successfully finding many excuses to browse the Chinti & Parker last chance AW collection pieces that I have had my eye on all winter.
No sooner had I added a black cashmere twin-heart print jumper and pair of matching trousers to my shopping bag, when the press release for the Spring/Summer ’19 collection pinged into my inbox.
Called ‘STRAWBERRY FIELDS’ - the brand are presenting a pared-back, elevated bohemian mood. A contemporary take on the unforgettable Flower Power movement. The new season Chinti & Parker’s key slogan designs spell ‘DREAMER’, ‘SOLEIL’, and ‘HE LOVES ME...HE LOVES ME NOT’ in embroidered, vibrant tones.
Inspired by the sweet optimism of the 1970s, kaleidoscopic palette and bold graphics, the new collection is a line of versatile pieces in a free-spirited style. Classic sportswear – sweaters, joggers, cardigan, co-ords – to wear at home or take on travels. I love the ‘Ski High Sweater’ and ‘Ski Hoodie’.
My dream loungewear, this ‘Oatmeal Start Hoodie’ and matching trousers also come in black and grey.
I love the ‘Ringmaster Grey hoodie’ and matching trousers
And when the weather does get too warm for cashmere, the brand has it covered for weekends, work wear and light travel essentials. There are rainbow coloured cotton knit jumpers, luxe wool knits and my favourite piece is a timeless midi dress in navy and white
As a company Chinti and Parker are incredibly proud of their British heritage and endeavour to incorporate individuality and creativity into the designs which are all meticulously crafted in London. The bohemian style of the SS19 collection, is never more present than in the Silk collection Filled with shirts, dresses and printed trousers, these are floaty silhouettes for a modern woman.
Whoops, my shopping bag may now have a few extra additions...
