Get yourself beach-ready with this season’s finest offerings from Coco Bay. With 15% off until 30 June 2019.

What do you do when you can’t find swimwear you like? Invent a company that will come up with the goods, of course. This is exactly what twin sisters, Belinda Robinson and Anna Roscoe, did when they’d got fed up with the “soul-destroying misery of the annual hunt for swimwear”, launching Coco Bay.

GWG visitors can enjoy 15% discount, quoting code GWGSS19. This offer expires on 30th June 2019. (One use per customer, not valid with any other offers).

In 2003, they made it their mission to create a mail-order company that would provide sophisticated, well-cut costumes that flattered real people.

The twins know their customer well. Anna Roscoe told us: “For many people, a visit to Coco Bay’s website is part of planning for their holiday, so to give the site atmosphere we always do location shoots. Our aim is to transport people to that warm paradise even if they are buying beachwear in the midst of winter.”

Unlike many of those riding the wave of online retailing, the sisters have always been careful to focus on strong customer service and excellent fitting advice. They go so far as to display a London telephone number prominently on the site’s homepage for any burning questions. Plus, the Style Finder section goes into unusual and very welcome detail about which swimwear styles suit which body shapes and sizes.

In 2016, the firm won The Good Web Guide Excellence in Customer Service Award. At the time, Roscoe said: “We are over the moon to have won this category. Customer service has always been something Coco Bay are highly committed to and is central to our success. We’re constantly finding ways to provide our customers with a stress-free shopping experience and really do try to go that extra mile”.

As a result of that commitment, Coco Bay is still going strong today, with an enticing array of bikinis, one-pieces, kaftans, active-wear and accessories from several carefully chosen designers.

Here are a few of our favourite things this season.

With loose-fitting and water-repellant fabric, these shorts are perfect for energetic days on the beach or by the pool. Pack a pair of these and you may be inspired to keep your exercise regime up throughout the holiday. Wouldn’t you just love to be that person? Go on, then, you can be…

They know what they are doing at leading swimwear brand, Seafolly, and this stunning swimming costume is no exception. Its chic olive colour and front panel detailing is an endlessly flattering combo.

Because this bikini comes in six styles, there absolutely will be one to suit your shape. With its navy, powder blue, grey and white striped design, it is a lively and fresh option for your suitcase this summer.

This is one versatile bit of kit. With its lightweight cotton fabric, long sleeves and buttons down the front, it is a super stylish cover-up that doesn’t stint on comfort. Throw it on for lunch or dress it up in the evening. Top tip: it’s worth bearing in mind that the sizing is generous.

Ruffles are in this year, so snap up one of these girlie crop tops from Miami-based designer, Skemo. Handmade in Indonesia, the Dominica Top is also available in teal and a very pretty blush pink.

See off the ill effects on your swimwear of chlorine, sun and salt with these ingenious travel sachets of rinse-free detergent solution. All you do is soak your costume in the contents of one sachet for 15 minutes, before wringing out the excess water and hanging the costume up to dry. Across the board this eco-friendly bikini wash, which is designed and made in Canada, gets rave reviews from Coco Bay’s customers.
