Taking inspiration from Paris and Milan, the design philosophy at this new footwear brand is all about timeless silhouettes.

There’s a new kid on the footwear block. Seven & Sole sells beautifully crafted styles with a contemporary touch.

Behind Seven & Sole is a strong mother-and-daughter team. Alexandra Pope, the company’s co-founder and designer, is a super-stylish business and marketing graduate. Her mother, meanwhile, has over twenty years in the footwear industry.

The combination results in a smart website full of seriously covetous shoes.

Taking inspiration from Paris and Milan, Seven & Sole’s design philosophy is all about timeless silhouettes realised in modern colours and textures. Velvet is key in their collection of loafers and mules, as are deep shades of navy, petrol and mustard. Ridiculously easy to wear, each of Seven & Sole’s styles can dress up jeans or complement a dress.

These ladies have a conscience, too. Ten per cent of the profit from sales of their Athena Mule (whose stunning embroidery represents freedom and escape) will go to the mental-health charity, Mind.

They say: “The Seven & Sole woman is often on the go, but her style encompasses an elegance, teaming timeless styles with certain trends. Her effortless look radiates as she runs through the city streets with her footwear key in completing her look.”

Seven & Sole’s website is tasteful and simple, and you can catch the new brand’s gloriously urbane Instagram feed @sevenandsole.

We reckon you should expect to see the Hebe Mule, with its handmade velvet knot, on the chicest feet this winter.
