Susan Holton Knitwear

Wrap up warm with this hand-dyed contemporary knitwear, designed to flatter.

Wrap yourself up in contemporary and unusual knitwear from Susan Holton Knitwear. Sue hand-dyes many of the garments and uses high quality silks, linens, cottons, wools and viscose yarns that have been sourced in the UK. What you will see on the site is just a selection of what Susan Holton Knitwear has to offer and Sue can make up garments to your own specification.

Sue designs everything herself and the range of clothing includes sweaters, jackets and tops, scarves and accessories whilst also offering a range of button brooches and pins with which to decorate and fasten your new knitwear purchases. Everything at Susan Holton Knitwear is handmade by both Sue and her small dedicated team of knitters from Cornwall to Orkney. The time and craftsmanship that is invested in each piece is reflected in the price. However, do bear in mind that the price given also includes standard UK delivery, and remember that this is not cheap mass-produced knitwear, it is the real deal.

A favourite amongst Sue's customers is the Ridge and Furrow Soft Cotton Jacket (£149.50), which is light and easy to wear, with a boxy fit and relaxed, kimono-style, with bracelet length sleeves. There are also some lovely hand-painted scarves, stripy wrist warmers and pretty knitted hats that will keep the cold at bay.

Sue is a self-taught knitter and dyer. She spends considerable time exploring stitch, yarn and fibre combinations, mixing different fibres, yarns and colours together to achieve this unique knitwear that is designed to flatter, ensuring that garments fit and drape perfectly. Her customers come back again and again to add to their wardrobes.
