The absolute cream of the beauty powerhouse brands’ advent calendars, all wrapped up

Think we’ve got eons before Christmas? Not when it comes to the sell-out-in-seconds world of beauty advent calendars, we haven’t. To save you time, we’ve rounded up the most seductive little doors to buy this year (seriously, forget chocolate) – and by this year, we actually mean right now. This very moment. Seriously. A word to the beauty wise: act with haste and get your name down on the waiting lists pronto. They’re brilliant value, often containing hundreds of pounds worth of goodies for a fraction of the price, and they’re beautiful, which means just one thing: they won’t hang about. Go go go!

Liberty, £215

Worth over £789 yet retailing for £215, this jam-packed advent calendar is the beauty equivalent of getting your hands on flour at the start of Covid. In actual fact, it is the most successful and fastest-selling product in Liberty’s 145-year history. If you’re one of the lucky ones, prepare to feast your eyes (and body) on products by brands including Diptyque, Votary, Aromatherapy Associates and Spacemasks, to name just a few.

Elemis, £175

We are huge Elemis fans and, in particular of the Pro-Collagen range which works wonders on our skin. Elemis’ Christmas offering this year is nothing short of spectacular. An absolute beauty of an advent calendar, it is stocked with all the pro-collagen goodies, superfood and peptide ranges as well as with some incredible treatments and pieces from their body range.

Molton Brown, £175

This Molton Brown luxury advent calendar is filled with delicious-smelling new fragrances from the brand, as well as bath and body classics – and so much more. We particularly love the fabulous holographic design, which evokes a super-glam and evocative 1920s chandelier, and its sleek magnetic closure.

L’Occitane, £53 and £99

L’Occitane has done it again. This year they’ve gone and produced not one but two calendars. The first is the ‘Classic’ (retailing at £53 and worth £87), a beautifully illustrated calendar which includes some classic L’Occitane me-time products, such as hand cream, shower gels and hair masks. The second calendar is the ‘Luxury’ (retailing at £99, worth £135). This sleek and sexy box contains products such as the brand’s relaxing pillow spray, serum and almond shower gel (our new obsession).

Cult Beauty, £199

This bestselling advent calendar contains thirty-two of the biggest names in beauty such as Hourglass, Cult Beauty, Drunk Elephant, BY TERRY and Milk. You’re definitely getting bang for your buck here as this sellout calendar is worth in excess of £930. Plus, £15 from every calendar sold goes towards the wonderful ‘Beauty Banks’ Charity. Win-win.

Charlotte Tilbury, £150

We are huge fans of Charlotte Tilbury. There is something so appealing about her packaging which, by some alchemy, makes us want to take out our credit card immediately. This bejeweled and unmistakably Charlotte Tilbury calendar has twelve magical doors containing a combination of full and travel size products.

Roccabox, £72

A new kid on the block when it comes to beauty calendars is Roccabox’s offering. This pink number retails at £72 but is worth £350. Packed with goodies from big brand names such as Nue Co, Sunday Riley and Murad, it’s a definite contender in the beauty calendar stakes.

Jo Malone, £320

Jo Malone’s calendar is going to be snapped up fast as it is not only so very beautiful to look at (a perfect black and white line illustrated depiction of the Jo Malone London Townhouse), it is also full of all the minis your heart could ever desire. Think perfect tiny versions of all your favourites; candles, body lotions, colognes, hand washes and more. Not yet released, we recommend you get your name down on that list as soon as you possibly can!

The White Company, £160

And then there were nine; once you start looking for the best beauty advent calendars, it's difficult to stop. This is one for fans of The White Company. This covetable advent calendar will make your countdown to Christmas all the more indulgent. Expect to find lots of your favourite products, including seasonal votives, handbag size bodycare, pulse point oils and more.
