Imported Vietnamese and British-designed clothes, gifts and jewellery.

A small but perfectly formed site, KuddyCo comes up trumps for those looking for jewellery, clothing and unusual gifts that you simply won’t find elsewhere.

Like many a budding retailer, Kuddy began her journey with a stall on Portobello Market, where she sold her own silk clothing designs and handmade imports from Vietnamese small producers. Her stall became so popular that she realised it was time to grow, and moved to a pretty shop in north west London where her loyal band of Notting Hill customers soon followed. A lovely little boutique-style shop, KuddyCo features hand dyed and hand embroidered gem-coloured silk and velvet collections and cotton children’s clothes. Jewellery meanwhile is hand crafted by UK-based designers with gifts specially chosen to match with the rest of the range.

The launch of Kuddy’s website has finally allowed the work of cottage-industry craftspeople in Vietnam, as well as little known British designers to be brought to a wider audience, and given shoppers bored and demoralised by the monotony of high street fare a chance to find something genuinely original and ethically made. The site is simple and the selection of jewellery, clothes, kids clothing and accessories and gifts small, but the quality of each product still makes KuddyCo an essential shopping spot. The jewellery section includes a truly fabulous pair of gold butterfly hoop earrings, an elegant brass and honey glass bangle and various other pieces we’ve already got on our Christmas lists.
