The selection of blogs chosen by Adriana Carlucci reflect her interest in beauty and ancient antiquity.

Ancienne Ambiance is the luxury niche brand specialising in home scents, candles, and bath products. Founded in 2004, the brand has since become a favourite with people like American Vogue editor, Plum Sykes. The products are organic, free of parabens, and come in recyclable packaging. Here, founder, Adriana Carlucci, shares her five favourite beauty blogs.

The Beauty Shortlist

Fiona Klonarides showcases the best in beauty and I've been a huge fan for years. From small indie brands to large ones, this is a carefully curated blog with brand news from all over the world. It is also host for the coveted Beauty Shortlist Awards.

The Perfume Society

Everything fragrance from the lovely Perfume Society, from posts about new releases to wonderful interviews with all sorts of perfumers, including pieces written by Jasmine Award-winning writer Suzy Nightingale - I can literally smell her fragrance descriptions though the screen as I read :)

Beauty Stylus

Another favourite writer, Helen Wilson-Beevers is a mum of two and an Endometriosis warrior. She has such an honest, knowledgable approach that you can really relate to. It's no wonder that her recent pieces for Grazia and Glamour mags (about her Hysterectomy at 30) resonated so much that she has become a support to many women.

The Getty Iris

Getty news on antiquities and ancient art, with great articles by a mix of curators and scholars. Full of insightful research; from ancient greek vases to how they preserve ancient art. Forget all about stuffy history articles that are a pain to read, Iris is fun and pleasure to read.

Nourished Naturally

Samantha Hadadi posts about nutrition and wellbeing, with the most amazing recipes for treats that are both delicious and actually healthy (her photos make your mouth water). She also includes easy vegan recipes, which I've found were ideal for when I've made things for lactose intolerant friends/family.
