Grabble, the so-called "Tinder for fashion", is the app to discover daily hand-picked styles.

Grabble is the shopping app known as the "Tinder of fashion".

Simply put, Grabble is a curated daily edit of the best of fashion, lifestyle and beauty products, handpicked by a team of expert stylists. It’s a shopping app that lets users take inspiration, save and buy from hand-picked fashion collections.

We talk to Cherry Collins, Creative Director, to find out more...

The idea came about as a result of... Grabble started life as a website, but it soon became apparent after a huge surge in traffic from Twitter, that mobile was fast becoming a thing. So, instead of continuing to pump energy and time into the website we made the quick transition to an app and the rest is history.

The biggest challenge is… In previous jobs I've been used to working with strict perimeters, you had a project and you stuck to the brief until submission. The hardest thing to get used to now is realising that you can't do everything in a day.  Quite often I'll have an idea and want to jump straight in and do everything, but you still have to plan carefully and map everything out.

The average day is spent… My day-to-day role involves overseeing a team of stylists who curate and manage our fashion feed and collections, which can be filtered according to price, brand, category and style. I'm also responsible for planning the app’s editorial content and marketing emails.

The team consists of… We’ve been growing rapidly. Just last year we went from four to twenty. The senior management team consists of Grabble’s two co-founders Daniel Murray and Joel Freeman, and myself.

My favourite quote… “The more I learn, the more I realise how much I don't know.”

I am where I am today because of… Hard work, determination, staying focused and remaining humble.

I am who I am because of... My family, my friends and my experiences.

The best advice I've been given… Don't give up what you want most for what you want now. If you've tried your best and failed, you've still tried your best. Focus on your own goals, not everyone else's. There's no point in spending your life in competition, it won't make you happy.

In five years I’d like to be… Five years is a long time, I have no idea what I'll be doing by then, but hopefully we'll have expanded and I'll be managing creative teams internationally, spreading the Grabble love worldwide.

The thing no one ever tells you about running your own business… It's all-encompassing and you probably won't get it right the first time.

The most rewarding experience we’ve had to date… Being able to expand the team is an incredible feeling. It's so rewarding being able to hire superstars and watch the seeds you’ve planted finally start to flourish.
