Housework is a breeze with these 100 per cent natural, British-made cleaning products, where 'clean is beautiful.'

Housework is heavenly with these 100 per cent natural, British-made, perfectly packaged cleaning products found at Tincture London. Believe it or not, there are some certainties in 2019. One is that we are into cleaning and tidying. Another is that we like to strip our environment of toxins as much as is possible. A third is that we love, love, love pretty packaging.

So, when sisters Angelika Davenport (who has a background in investment banking) and Anastasia Brozler (whose background is in fragrance and herbalism) launched their stunning range of all-natural cleaning products, they were giving us a gift.

With six children between them, Angelika and Anastasia searched for family, pet and environmentally friendly products that would not exacerbate asthma and eczema – but that would clean effectively. They couldn’t find what they were looking for on the market, so they made their own.

Angelika says: “We wanted to create a superior, all-natural, cleaning product range that would not compromise on the health and wellbeing of the user or the environment.

“Tincture enhances the experience of household cleaning, creating a cleansing journey akin to a therapeutic spa experience as well as looking subtle and stylish in any home.”

Made in Norfolk, the range includes washing up liquid, floor cleaner, bathroom cleaner, glass cleaner, furniture cleaner and a lovely all-purpose tincture. The fresh, white bottles, with their minimalist vibe, are absolutely as pretty as a picture.

What lurks inside is wonderfully free from chemicals, like petrochemicals, phosphates, SLS, parabens, synthetic fragrances and dyes. Meanwhile, the list of carefully blended ingredients, which are the result of much research, reads like that of an ancient apothecarist. In there is bay, chamomile, bergamot, Siberian pine, eucalyptus and lavender… need we go on?

Having tried out Tincture herself, the Queen of Clean blogger said: “All of these products perform well and have an amazing, non-over-bearing natural smell. Tincture is a very light product, and a little does go a long way, making the product last well with everyday cleaning.”

Forget the hell that is the cupboard under your kitchen sink, these babies deserve prime counter space. Pronto.
