Where the French aesthetic reigns supreme with a superb selection of French style gifts and home accessories.

It’s blue, it’s white, it’s a homage to the finer things from across the Channel; meet Boutique Provençale, the site where the gallic aesthetic reigns supreme with a superb selection of French style gifts and home accessories.

A RANGE TO SWOON OVER

Whether it’s tableware, tablecloths or accessories you’re after, there’s no end in sight at this veritable Aladdin’s cave of treasures. Everything is sourced with only the highest quality in mind and all products come straight from the breezy, flower filled hills of the South of France. These are not imitation products, these are the real thing; beautiful high quality homewares that are made to last, made to be loved and can’t fail to lighten up the atmosphere in any home.

Boutique Provençale carefully sources products from artisan makers, from people and firms who are passionate about what they do. Check out Festin Coquin, a husband and wife team who make hand painted pottery and the Forestier family at Ensoleillade, who supply pretty Provençale table linen.

THE SITE ITSELF

Is a clean, white, well-designed website full of sharp high res images that show the country kitchen accessories, the crockery and table linens in their finest settings. Even better there’s a phone line (hallelujah!) that makes the whole process of ordering trouble free (now that’s what we call customer service). In addition the simple search facilities (by price and category) make finding your ideal product an absolute doddle.

THE FOUNDER

Goes by the name of Sue Aitken, who found herself in Provence as a student and developed a love for the picturesque scenery of Sanary sur Mer, a small fishing port resplendent with colour, vibrancy and that unique French atmosphere. Fuelled by her love of the region, Sue has also compiled some extremely useful information, which is available in the Provence section of the site.

DELIVERY OPTIONS

Abound so once you’ve paid for your colourful pottery; you can have it winging its way to you in less than two days, with refunds (we doubt that will be necessary) available within a week of purchase. In addition there’s free gift-wrapping on all orders – just in time for Christmas!

TO SUMMARISE

We went to Provence, we loved it but boy did we yearn for all the incredible products on offer – and now here they are at the touch of a mouse. Boutique Provencale has it all.
