Bookatable, a Michelin group company, is the European leader in the online restaurant reservation market with more than 15,000 establishments using its service in 39 countries, and more than 34 million covers booked online and dined in 2015 in Europe.

Bookatable’s mission is to fill the world’s restaurants with happy diners and, through sharing its passion for eating out, to inspire and enable great dining experiences for any occasion and budget.

Following a multi-year partnership with Bookatable which began in 2013, in January this year Michelin announced its acquisition of the platform. The acquisition marks Bookatable Michelin as the clear European market leader in this sector and that it will incorporate Bookatable solutions into the MICHELIN Restaurants offer - both via the web and via apps.

Skype – Working in an international business means I’m always on the lookout for tools that will make communicating with my team easier. Skype isn’t the newest means of communication available to us, but I use it all the time to stay in touch with colleagues across the world via the instant messaging function.

Hailo – Anyone that lives in London knows that feeling when you’re desperate to find a cab but there are none to be found. Anywhere. Thanks to Hailo, I’m now never in a situation when I can’t get hold of a taxi. As a brand, Hailo impressed me when they came onto the scene and successfully disrupted the industry, and as a user, I’m totally sold.

Foodism – It’s probably obvious, but I’m pretty in to what I eat. I’m excited by the growing number of excellent food sites and blogs on the internet and that passion for food and dining is becoming more mainstream. Foodism has been a favourite of mine for a while.

Slate – I catch up on what’s happening in the world from a variety of sites and outlets, but I’m a fan of Slate for its quick turnaround opinion pieces and features.

TED – Since I discovered the world of TED talks, I’ve been pretty obsessed with the site and have lost count of the talks I’ve been totally engrossed in. It’s a really great way to learn something new, and after watching so many superb speakers I hope to make my own talks even more engaging and interesting.

Amazon – Being able to order something and have it delivered the next day has been a life saver for me on numerous occasions. I have the Amazon app on my phone too, so I’m able to shop on the go. It’s made Christmas present shopping a lot more bearable... – I had to include our own website as it’s something I’m very proud of. From quick weekday meals in chain restaurants, to truly unmissable deals at Michelin starred restaurants; there’s something to book for every palette – and pocket. I have the Bookatable app downloaded on my phone to make last minute reservations on the go.
