The Sussex Wine Company offers a personal service, whilst giving value for money.

The Sussex Wine Company operates on three levels. The company likes to offer value for money, a personal service tailored to the needs of the individual and to promote less well known wineries. They achieve all this and more on their efficient and well designed website.

The wine list is drawn from across the board and includes wine from South Africa, Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, Australia, New Zealand, Chile, Argentina and Germany. Their growing list of organic wine is attracting attention in the press and is well received.

Click on a category and you are presented with a featured product. If you are unsure of where to start, this is a good place. The lists aren't long, making decisions happen all the easier. The Sussex Wine Company is particularly proud of its association with the Champagne house, Laherte Freres. You can also buy sherry from Wisdom & Warter and port from Pocas. Other houses include Turkey Flat, Klein Constantia, Lamborghini, Bolgheri, Zenato, Prunotto, Vina Ljalba, Millton to name but a few.

At the time of review, there were 301 products available online and this includes accessories, such as wine racks, decanters and glasses. Savings can be made on selected mixed cases, details of which are posted on the homepage. There is free delivery on orders over £100.

The company also runs regular wine tastings from their shop in Eastbourne. Look in New & Events for more information.

The company was set up in 2004 on the back of a decade of experience in the wine trade. The site displays art work of one of the company's founders as well as that of other local artists.
