Food & Drink

Rated by The Sunday Telegraph as one of Britain's Top 50 foodie destinations.

Delimann is most definitely a deli with heritage. Based in Bovey Tracey for 175 years, Delimann is still run by the same family that first started out delivering milk to customers’ doorsteps and making clotted cream at the back of the shop. Today, the shop still delights locals with its carefully sourced produce but it also mails out delicious foodie gifts and hampers to destinations across the UK. Some of the products are supplied exclusively to Delimann by artisan producers, who make only small batches for maximum flavour and taste. Picked up frequently in the press as a destination site for food gifts, most recently it was listed in Stella Magazine in The Sunday Telegraph as one of Britains Top 50 Foodie Destinations.

Delimann gifts showcase the very best of Dartmoor produce, whether it’s prepared in house or produced by artisans nearby. One of Delimann's signature gift is The Devon Cream Tea with oversized scones that are freshly baked on the day of despatch, strawberry jam, Westcountry tea and tea bread, all presented in a gift box with your own message, all for £17.50. This couldn’t be a better gift to say thank you or as a ‘pick me up’ for someone who is feeling down. Alternatively, you could spice things up a little by choosing the Hot Chilli Cream Tea, with cheese scones, cream cheese and a pot of South Devon Chilli Jam. The Champagne Afternoon Tea is a best seller too, an indulgent treat or a gift to mark a special occasion, with a bottle of fine fizz, cream tea, Westcountry meringues, chocolate truffles and fruit cake, all presented in a rustic gift box (£59.50). Please note that gifts that contain scones are despatched Tuesday to Friday as the scones are freshly baked.

Alongside the delicious teas, you’ll find gifts that are great for dads or granddads, the Ploughman’s Lunch with a truckle of cheese, some fine Dartmoor ale and some signature oversized scones. New to the range are Brownies that are made in house and are flying off the shelves, which would make a welcome present without denting your wallet (£12.95 for 8 ).

All tastes and budgets are catered for at Delimann with gourmet chocolates, Delimann organic fudge, Gudrun Belgian Truffles, local honey and Luscombe juices. The Telegraph once again was very taken with the Chocolate Fig Bonbons and so are we! These brandy truffle filled Spanish figs are coated in dark chocolate and look too good to be true. All orders are delivered in a rustic box, made in Devon, with wood wool to protect your order whilst in transit. Rest assured, that Delimann covers all bases to keep its customers happy.

If you’d like to give something that lasts a year, why not consider a Delimann subscription. With the Four Seasons, a Devon Cream Tea will be delivered four times a year, with a seasonal twist, all for £100. For something more spoiling, the Luxury Afternoon Tea can be delivered three times in twelve months, with a bottle of Champagne, fruit juice, Devon Cream tea and all the trimmings for £250.

Delimann also supplies corporate hampers, with clients ranging from multi nationals from 02 to Virgin Atlantics, to SMEs all seeking a memorable gift with a difference.

Standard mainland UK delivery is £4.95.
