When, at the end of a long day, I am lacking the inspiration to dream up something healthy and nutritious for dinner, I turn to a selection of trusted blogs to spark my imagination and stimulate the taste buds. Listed below are some of my favourite sites, with a little something for everyone!

FOR VEGETARIANS
www.greenkitchenstories.com

One of my go-to-blogs for meat-free Mondays or just anytime vegetarian inspiration is The Green Kitchen Stories. Created in Stockholm by David and Luise and taste tested by their daughter, this blog always gets the taste-buds working with their fantastic photos and interesting use of ingredients. I love their Broccoli Pesto, teamed with gluten free nut crackers - so easy and quick to make. For those with a sweet-tooth try the Raw Hazelnut & Chai Brownies. Divine!

FOR GOING GLUTEN FREE
www.cannelle-vanille.blogspot.com

There are more and more people opting for gluten free food options. Whether you are Coeliac or find yourself hosting a dinner party with a 'gluten-free' guest, don't panic! You can't go wrong with a quick scan of Cannelle-Vanille for gluten free ideas. You can even search for full menu inspiration. Recipe favourites include Gluten and Dairy Free Lemon, Pistachio and Poppy Seed Cakes and Gluten Free Roasted Tomato and Watercress Tart.

FOR NATURAL COOKING
www.101cookbooks.com

The author of the blog 101 Cookbooks, Hedi Swanson, started her blog after she realized she had 100 cookbooks and was cooking the same recipes over and over. She stopped buying books and started cooking. Eight years later she has published two cookbooks, the latest, Super Natural Every Day, shows you how to make the most out of whole grains and wholefoods. Lovely wholesome cooking at its best. I love the Shaved Fennel Salad - perfect for this time of year and the Mushroom Shichimi Rice Bowl.

FOR KEEPING IT NATURAL
sproutedkitchen.com

Sprouted Kitchen is all about food in its purest form. Recipes inspired by an apple from a farmers market, eating seasonally and using unsaturated fats and natural sugar alternatives. Beautiful photos leap off the screen. Check out Picnic Breakfast Burritos and the Lemon Fish and Grilled Lemon Polenta.
