One of the more inspiring food trends to invade our Instagram in recent times, the flower-shaped gelato has elevated the humble ice-cream cone into an art form. Brainchild of Paris-born artisan gelateria (read: posh and delicious ice-cream shop), Amorino now has shops across the world and a host of inspired imitators. As Chelsea Flower Show draws to a close, we pick out some of our all time favourite snaps.

The original and the best, Amorino now has three branches in London bringing its inimitable rose cone within licking distance of all those living in the south-west. The ice cream is rich, creamy, classic artisan fare and comes in a host of tasty flavours alongside a vegan sorbet option for slimmers. There are even mini bambino rose cones for little ones.

Sydney-based I-Creamy Gelato is worth following on Instagram for its mouth-watering pictures of gelato roses which it crafts from flavours including black sesame, raspberry crumble, Kit Kat and Thai Milk Tea. You’ll only have to travel some 10,000 miles or so to try one for yourself.

The sun never stops shining in California, making it ideal ice-cream eating country. Based in L.A, Cauldron Ice Cream makes all its ice-cream using liquid nitrogen, meaning no frozen ice-cream wasting away in tubs – just fresh, delicious gelato. Couple this with its rose shaped scoops and delectable puffle cones and you have some highly Instagrammable ice-cream.
