It gives us great pleasure to shine this week’s spotlight on e-commerce interiors site
Trouva; it just marked its first birthday and reported monthly sales growth of 50%. Not a bad year.
The French word ‘trouvaille’ means ‘a lucky find’ and this is just what the clean and simple-to-browse website is all about. Backed by the same investors as ASOS and Net-A-Porter, this treasure trove of ‘lucky finds’ is the very antithesis of chain-dominated high street shops. Formerly known as Streethub, Trouva
sells stylish homeware, quirky gifts and cute childrens’ clothes.
In the words of GQ magazine, Trouva
is ‘the web equivalent of those cool little curated shops you find off the beaten track.’ The site helps 150 of the UK’s best independent boutiques, mostly from London or Brighton, to sell online without having to make heavy investments in websites and logistics operations.
It offers a convenient delivery service including same day, click and collect as well as traditional shipping methods. It launched a one-hour delivery service in the capital. Its fastest order was completed in 25 minutes. Lucky find indeed.
