CHANEL

Everyone looks forward to the Chanel show, Lagerfeld is nothing if not a master craftsman (just look at our editor Alice’s review of the haute couture, to a quick note on Karl himself) and this season promises another plethora of surprises.

DIOR
www.dior.com

Designer Raf Simons was an inspired choice to take the mantle at Dior with his elegant pared back ethos. Last season saw him bring 1960’s dressing to the fore, and no doubt this season will see him soar to new sartorial heights.

GIVENCHY

In case you missed it Rosamund Pike may have missed out on the Oscar for Gone Girl, but she was certainly deserving of a best dressed award in full length lace Givenchy. At the helm since 2005 Riccardo Tisci is a master of red carpet dressing and it shows.

ALEXANDER MCQUEEN
www.alexandermcqueen.com

This year is the fifth anniversary of iconic designer Alexander McQueen’ death as well as the publication year of his biography. A poignant time for the fashion house that has continued its stratospheric rise under the helm of Saran Burton.

DRIES VAN NOTEN
www.driesvannoten.be

The Belgian design house shows in Paris, with an ethos that’s all about wearability. As Van Noten said, he doesn’t “like the idea of showing things that you don't sell in a store" ergo he eschews haute couture to make his designs more widely available.

RICK OWENS

Remember the men's collection? With the models' intimate parts exposed? Rick Owens is never one to shy away from a little controversy, and no doubt this collection for Autumn/Winter 2015 will be no different.

MAISON MARGIELA
www.maisonmargiela.com

It’s John Galliano's comeback, and all eyes are on his return to the fashion firmament. Whether you’re for or against, there’s no denying Galliano is a master. The website will be relaunched soon, so best head to the brand's Instagram account.

ISABEL MARANT

The queen of elegant hipster cool with a strong emphasis on boho, these are the clothes to be worn at Coachella, a look that the it girls of the moment covet from head to toe.
